2 new demos of mashing-up Google APIs with RCS UNI API

Just to show 2 new demos using the Google API's not in web but as a RCS contact instant messaging. Using the Solaiemes RCS Solution Gateway API and the service API (the Google ones in these cases) you may create compelling use cases and test them in a couple of hours.

Hello Juan,

Thank you for the videos, indeed it is a nice concept, but I wonder if it's more attractive to the user than widgets. what are the benefits of this technology?

Achraf, there are J2ME RCS clients, this means that you can use that type of interaction even with feature phones, not only smartphones.
Also, the widgets is something to be installed, and the average user is "no geek at all", our aproach is simple, the service is a new contact in your phonebook.

Thank you Juan for your response. In this case, what will be your strategy on the mid term in the actual context:
1 - smartphones are dominating the mobile handset market.
2 - domination of apps and widget logic, especially after the facility of access and install due to app markets.

Smartphones make easier also to create "gates" as the RCS clients with better user experience.
Much more people used "common doors" for services as SMS (to vote, buy ringtones, receive banking alerts, send their view to a TV show....etc) than install apps. Our strategy is opening this new telco service that is the RCS in the same way that it was done with the SMS in the past, to get the ecosystem working on new easy "accessibility" solutions.
